Role PurposeThe MSME Auditor will conduct independent audits across branches. The role ensures compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, operational controls, and risk management frameworks. The role will focus on assessing the end-to-end audit process. (Sourcing to disbursement).Key Responsibilities

- Conduct audits of the MSME branches in accordance with the approved audit plan.

- Discuss audit observations with the auditee during the closure meeting.

- Early warning/Critical non-compliance escalation

- Perform surprise audits and physical cash verification at branches.

- Review customer onboarding, KYC documentation, sanctioning, disbursement, property document verification, Collection process, and loan closure processes.

- Audit overdue accounts and assess compliance with approved procedures.

- Identify operational, fraud, financial, and compliance risks in the MSME loan portfolio.

- Assess adherence to RBI regulations, internal policies, audit standards, and statutory requirements applicable to NBFCs.

- Recommend corrective and preventive actions to strengthen controls and reduce operational risk.





- Prepare comprehensive audit reports highlighting observations, risk ratings, root causes, and actionable recommendations.

- Audit report submission to the Zonal Head with the desired quality

- Monitor closure of audit observations and validate implementation of corrective actions.

- Support continuous auditing initiatives and process improvement projects.

Educational Qualification

- Graduation

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in MSME audit (Candidate with relevant experience in secure audit).

Skills

- Strong understanding of Secure audit, operational processes, and associated risks along with RBI regulations.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, audit tools, and reporting systems.

- Working knowledge of data analytics techniques will be an advantage.

- High level of integrity and skilled ethics.

- Strong analytical and investigative skills.

- Effective report writing and communication skills.

- Extensive travel across branch locations and regional offices as per audit schedules.
