- Participation to the decisions regarding foreign filings,

- Definition of product coverage strategy with R&D;/Projects

- Patent portfolio management

Preventing or defending from third parties actions

- Project studies in view of identified competitor patents

- Action for reorienting any project in case of infringement risk

- Patent clearances and IP Rights validity studies based on one or cluster of families and including risk assessment

- Contributions to Oppositions / Nullity suits against patents granted to third parties

- Study and follow-up of infringement claims and litigations

- Infringement detection and validity check of the files

- Offensive pre-litigation or litigation actions, in liaison with IP, Division Managements and other involved functions and according to Group rules

Support To Other Functions

- Reviewing of IP clauses in agreements, Proposition of modifications in agreements

- IP training for R&D;/R&I; teams

Applying the Environment Safety and Security procedures and positive practices; know for their activities and the activities of subcontractors the potential risks and their consequences. Be attentive and responsive to them and manage the associated action plans.
