Role Overview

Nexelon Chem Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Instrumentation Engineer for our continuous process chemical manufacturing facility in Khambhat. You will be responsible for the continuous operation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of plant instrumentation, control systems, and automated machinery to ensure maximum uptime, process efficiency, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Plant Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Lead routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance for all field instruments, control valves, transmitters, sensors, and analyzers.
- Control Systems Management: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and SCADA systems.
- Calibration & Compliance: Execute calibration schedules for pressure, temperature, level, and flow measurement devices to comply with ISO and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Project Support: Assist in installation, testing,



and commissioning of new instruments and control loops during plant expansions or modifications.
- Safety & Regulatory Protocols: Ensure all instrumentation activities comply with hazardous area classifications (ATEX/IECEx) and corporate HSE protocols.
- Vendor & Inventory Management: Coordinate with equipment vendors, procure critical spares, and maintain optimal inventory levels for instrumentation components.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Instrumentation & Control / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
- Experience: hands-on experience in a chemical, petrochemical, or process manufacturing plant.

- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in HART/Fieldbus protocols, smart transmitters, and control valve positioners.
- Practical knowledge of Siemens, Allen-Bradley, ABB, or Yokogawa PLC/DCS systems.
- Strong capability in reading Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;), loop sheets, and logic diagrams.
- Location Flexibility: Candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Khambhat, Anand, or nearby regions in Gujarat preferred
