Job Purpose
The Business Relationship Partner within the IT and Digital Services (IDS) department plays an important role in bridging the gap between technology and business objectives. Working within the BRM team this role is responsible for understanding the strategic needs of a given business unit and translating them into business outcomes, ensuring alignment with the business domain and/or value stream on the overall True North, purpose and goals. The Business Partner will collaborate closely with value stream leaders, sponsors, IDS delivery teams and other technical teams to develop roadmaps and shape demand of new initiatives. This role is non operational and requires analytical broad perspective thinking but with the ability to convert and conclude larger business outcomes into strategic initiatives. Job Description

Build strong network and relationships within the business functional teams and/or value streams, understand the business objectives and work to identify Minimal Viable Products to validate business hypothesis statements to ensure value is created.




Communicate effectively to ensure the successful implementation of the most valuable investments, recognizing that not all initiatives may proceed.
Identify opportunities to adopt existing technology or identify opportunities for current innovation that still align with larger strategic objectives by collaborating with the Enterprise Architecture team.
Develop a knowledge of the business units or value streams long-term goals and objectives while creating awareness within IDS of strategic business outcomes
Contribute to the development of IDS and BRM strategies that support business goals and objectives by collaborating with enterprise architecture.
Work closely with enterprise architecture to develop and maintain multi-year technology capability roadmaps to support the business plan and business capability development
