Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer who is tired of just making incremental updates to existing products? Do you want to own the entire journey—from a blank sheet of paper to a life-saving device in a doctor's hand?

At Shulkon Healthcare, we are expanding our R&D; capabilities in Navi Mumbai, and we’re looking for a Senior Lead – Mechanical Design Engineering to spearhead our next generation of medical devices.

This isn’t just a "CAD job." It’s a leadership role for a visionary engineer who understands that a great medical device is the perfect intersection of high-end mechanics, human ergonomics, and rigorous ISO compliance.

What you’ll do:
✅ Design from Scratch: Lead the conceptualization of new electro-mechanical devices.
✅ Build a Team: Mentor and grow a team of passionate junior and mid-level engineers.
✅ Bridge the Gap: Collaborate with Embedded Systems and Production teams to ensure DFM (Design for Manufacturability).
✅ Lead Compliance: Own the DHF, DMR,



and Risk Management (ISO 14971) processes to ensure we meet global standards (ISO 13485/IEC 60601).

What we’re looking for:
3 + years of experience in Medical Device design.
Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks.
A deep understanding of biocompatible materials, injection molding, and rapid prototyping.
A leader who can translate complex clinical needs into elegant mechanical solutions.
