JOB PROFILE
General Manager (Accounts & Finance)

Reporting To: Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) and/or Directors of the Company
The General Manager (Accounts, & Finance) shall be responsible for the overall supervision, management and control of the accounting, finance taxation and banking functions of the Group, including its corporate entities and Trusts.

The position shall involve the following key responsibilities:

1. Accounts & Finance
Overall supervision and control of the accounting functions of all companies, entities and Trusts forming part of the Group.
Supervision and review of day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring proper maintenance of books of accounts and financial records.
Preparation and finalisation of annual/final accounts in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 & 2013, Accounting Standards/Ind AS, as applicable, and generally accepted accounting principles and practices.
Establishing, reviewing and maintaining appropriate internal accounting controls, systems and procedures.




Identifying areas of financial and accounting risk and implementing appropriate checks and controls.
Overseeing the banking functions of the Group, including banking transactions, reconciliation and other related matters.
Liaising with Bank Managers and other banking officials to ensure effective and effective banking services.

2. Audit
Overall coordination and supervision of the Internal Audit functions of the Group.
Coordination with Statutory Auditors and assisting in the completion of statutory audits of the companies and other entities.
Providing the auditors with the necessary information, records and explanations and ensuring timely resolution of audit queries and observations.
Monitoring compliance with audit recommendations and internal control requirements.
3. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
Assisting in the preparation and timely filing of Income Tax Returns and other tax-related filings.
