- Manage and monitor Industrial Engineering activities across garment production.
- Conduct time study, motion study and method study to improve production efficiency.
- Prepare and analyse SAM (Standard Allowed Minute) for different operations.
- Develop and maintain operation bulletins and process layouts.
- Analyse production capacity, line efficiency and manpower requirements.
- Plan and balance production lines to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve production flow.
- Monitor daily production, efficiency, target achievement and downtime.
- Work closely with Production, Quality and Merchandising teams for smooth production planning.
- Develop production capacity reports, efficiency reports and other IE-related MIS.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reduce operation time, manpower cost and production losses through process improvement.
- Guide and supervise the IE team and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Support management in improving overall productivity and operational efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
- 12–15 years of relevant experience in Industrial Engineering / Garment Manufacturing.
- Strong experience in Garment Export / Export House, preferably woven garments.
- Excellent knowledge of SAM, SMV, Time Study, Line Balancing and Capacity Planning.
- Robust understanding of garment production processes and operations.
