nJob Summary
nWe are seeking an experienced Medical Coder specializing in Radiology and Sonography coding to accurately assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier codes for diagnostic imaging services. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of radiology procedures, ultrasound/sonography coding guidelines, payer-specific requirements, and compliance standards.
nKey Responsibilities

- Review and analyze medical records, radiology reports, physician documentation, and diagnostic imaging records.n
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers for Radiology and Sonography encounters.n
- Code services related to:n
- Diagnostic Radiologyn
- Ultrasound / Sonographyn
- CT Scann
- MRIn
- Mammographyn
- Nuclear Medicinen
- Interventional Radiologyn
- Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with payer regulations and coding guidelines.n




- Identify documentation gaps and communicate clarification requirements.n
- Perform audits and quality reviews to maintain coding accuracy standards.n
- Meet assigned productivity and quality targets.n
- Stay updated with annual coding guideline changes and payer-specific updates.n

nEligibility

- Experience in Radiology Coding / Diagnostic Imaging Coding.n
- Experience in Sonography / Ultrasound coding preferred.n
- Certified coder with any of the following:n

- CRC (preferred)n
