As HR Manager, you'll run day-to-day HR for ParkourSC's Hyderabad office, supporting a team of 40 employees. You'll lead recruitment across India, keep employment filings and statutory compliance in order, conduct interviews with both candidates and employees, and be the person people turn to when workplace situations and dilemmas come up. Success means smooth HR operations, timely hiring, and a team that feels heard and supported.
What you’ll do
HR Operations
- Manage day-to-day HR operations for the Hyderabad office, including onboarding/offboarding, employment records, and payroll coordination
- Administer payroll inputs, benefits administration, and statutory compliance for the India entity
- Maintain accurate employment filings and statutory documentation in line with Indian labour law
- Implement HR policies and procedures consistently across the India team
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations, resolving workplace issues and grievances with fairness and discretion
- Handle employee records, grievances, and other sensitive information with strict confidentiality
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for India-based roles — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers with hiring managers
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and selection criteria
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for technical and non-technical roles
- Own onboarding and offboarding documentation, induction, and exit formalities for the India entity
People Management
- Support workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives for the Hyderabad office
- Provide day-to-day support to employees and managers on HR-related matters
- Conduct interviews with candidates and periodic check-ins with employees to gauge engagement and surface concerns early
- Help drive employee development programs and training initiatives
- Track attrition, retention, and employee satisfaction, and flag trends to leadership
Administration
- Support office administration for the Hyderabad office, including facilities, supplies, and infrastructure needs
- Coordinate travel arrangements, logistics, and employee support services as needed
- Ensure proper documentation, filing systems, and record-keeping for HR and administrative matters
- Liaise with external agencies, consultants, and government authorities on statutory and administrative matters when required
What we’re looking for
- 5–7 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a startup or fast-growing IT/SaaS company
- Strong working knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, POSH, Shops & Establishments Act, and the new Labour Codes) — a must-have for this role
- Hands-on experience with HR operations: payroll coordination, statutory filings, HRIS, and employee documentation
- Proven experience running full-cycle recruitment for technology roles in India, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer coordination
- Excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgment resolving employee relations issues and workplace dilemmas
- Experience supporting office administration and vendor/logistics coordination is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience (discussed openly during the interview process)
- Statutory benefits as per Indian labour law
- Competitive benefit package
- A fast-growing SaaS environment with real ownership over India HR from day one
You’ll thrive here if you’re…
- Approachable and discreet — employees trust you with sensitive situations because you've earned it
- Detail-oriented about compliance and paperwork, without losing sight of the human side of HR
- A calm, fair problem-solver when workplace disagreements or employee dilemmas come up
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats — recruitment, operations, and administration — in a fast-moving environment
