Position: Housekeeping Trainer

Job Summary:

To train, guide, and mentor students in the Housekeeping trade, ensuring that they acquire both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical skills related to cleaning, maintenance, hygiene, and customer service standards as per hospitality industry requirements. The trainer will prepare trainees for employment in hotels, hospitals, corporate offices, and other service sectors.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Conduct effective classroom and practical training sessions as per the prescribed curriculum and lesson plan (ACLP).
- Teach topics such as: Cleaning procedures and equipment handling, Waste segregation and disposal methods, Room and public area cleaning, Laundry and linen management, Pest control, safety, and hygiene practices, Guest handling and communication etiquette
- Ensure training sessions are participatory, interactive, and skill-oriented.
- Demonstrate proper use of cleaning materials, tools, and chemicals in compliance with safety norms.

- Industry & Placement Readiness
- Center & Administrative Responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Hotel Management / Hospitality).




- Diploma / Certificate in Housekeeping or Hospitality Management from a recognized institute preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in housekeeping (Hotels / Hospitals / Facilities Management).
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching/training experience in a similar domain preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials, and techniques.
- Understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and occupational safety standards.
- Ability to demonstrate practical housekeeping procedures effectively.

Core Competencies:

- Confident public speaker and a devoted educator who is up-to-date on the latest tools and resources to provide training
- Capacity building and training skills
- Fluency in English (both oral and written)
- Excellent Communication, Interpersonal skills & facilitation skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Must be familiar with local language

Pay: ₹336,000.00 - ₹384,000.00 per year
