Qualification

- D.Pharm or B.Pharm (Mandatory)
- Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration
- 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
- Knowledge of NABH standards, drug storage, and inventory management

Job Summary The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications accurately, ensuring safe medication practices, maintaining pharmacy inventory, and providing medication-related guidance to patients and healthcare professionals in compliance with hospital policies and NABH standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.




- Verify prescriptions for completeness and appropriateness before dispensing.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, storage, and possible side effects.
- Maintain proper storage and handling of medicines as per regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and expiry dates.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, statutory regulations, and hospital policies.
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff to support protected medication management.
- Participate in regular stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
