The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining a clean, secure, hygienic, and pleasant environment throughout the hospital premises. The role involves cleaning patient care areas, wards, OPDs, offices, corridors, waiting areas, and other hospital facilities in accordance with infection control and hospital hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, wards, ICUs, OPDs, operation theatre surroundings, waiting areas, offices, and common areas.

- Sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect floors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment as per hospital protocols.

- Collect, segregate, and dispose of biomedical and general waste according to hospital and regulatory guidelines.

- Replenish cleaning supplies, hand sanitizers, tissues, and other housekeeping materials as required.

- Maintain cleanliness of washrooms and ensure adequate availability of soap, tissues, and other essentials.

- Follow infection prevention and control (IPC) measures at all times.

- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.

- Report maintenance issues, damages, spillages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.





- Assist in emergency cleaning and sanitation activities when required.

- Ensure proper use and storage of housekeeping equipment and materials.

- Maintain professional behavior and courteous interactions with patients, attendants, visitors, and staff.

- Adhere to hospital policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Minimum: 8th Pass / 10th Pass preferred.

- Previous housekeeping experience in a hospital, healthcare facility, hotel, or similar setting is desirable.

- Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness practices.

Skills & Competencies

- Attention to detail and cleanliness.

- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.

- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.

- Teamwork and cooperative attitude.

- Basic communication skills in Gujarati and/or Hindi.

Working Conditions

- Rotational shifts, including weekends, holidays, and night duties as required.

Pay: ₹150.00 - ₹260.80 per month
