The role involves extensive travel to customer locations, operational sites, test ranges and field-trial locations for installation, acceptance testing, demonstrations, troubleshooting and evaluation of new equipment.

1. Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning
- Install and commission RF Anti-Drone Jammers, GNSS Jammers, RF Detectors, RF Surveillance and associated

systems at customer and field locations.
- Install RF equipment, antennas, RF cables, power supplies, control units and communication interfaces.
- Verify system configuration, antenna connections, grounding, power supply and communication links.
- Perform system-level checks after installation and ensure equipment is ready for operation.

Field Testing & Trials
- Conduct field testing and performance evaluation of RF detection and jamming systems.
- Participate in customer demonstrations, qualification trials, acceptance tests and operational field trials.
- Execute approved test plans and customer requirements.
- Perform RF measurements and verify frequency coverage, signal strength, detection range, jamming effectiveness

and system response.
- Record test results, observations and anomalies and prepare field-test reports.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot RF systems, antennas, RF cables, power supplies, communication interfaces and control

software.
- Identify hardware, RF and system-level faults during field deployment.
- Perform fault isolation and coordinate with design, production and engineering teams for corrective action.
- Carry out system reconfiguration, calibration and replacement of faulty modules where required.

Customer & Field Support
- Travel to customer locations, defence establishments, test ranges and field locations as required.
- Support customer demonstrations and technical presentations during field trials.

- Interact with customer engineering, technical and operational teams.
- Provide on-site technical support during deployment and operational trials.

New Product Testing
- Participate in testing and evaluation of new RF / Anti-Drone / GNSS / Detection and Jamming equipment.
- Develop and execute test procedures for new equipment.
- Verify equipment functionality against specifications and requirements.
- Identify design issues and field-level problems and provide feedback to R&D;/product-development teams.

1. Required Technical Skills

RF Engineering
- Strong understanding of RF fundamentals and wireless communication systems.
- Knowledge of RF propagation, antennas, transmission lines and RF link budgets.
- Understanding of frequency, bandwidth, modulation, power levels, sensitivity, noise and interference.
- Ability to interpret RF measurements and analyse spectrum plots.

RF Detection
- Practical knowledge of RF signal detection, spectrum monitoring, RF signal identification, direction-finding concepts,

signal-strength measurement, RF interference analysis and detection-range testing.

RF Jamming

- Knowledge of RF jamming principles, GNSS jamming concepts, RF interference/denial, jamming-effectiveness

evaluation, frequency coverage, power requirements and antenna systems. Anti-Drone / Counter-UAS
- Understanding of RF-based drone detection and identification, RF jamming/mitigation, GNSS-based drone navigation

concepts and Counter-UAS system architecture.
1. Test Equipment Knowledge

Candidates should be comfortable operating or learning to operate: Spectrum Analyzer, RF Signal Generator, RF Power Meter, Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Frequency Counter, VSWR/Return Loss

Measurement Equipment, RF Attenuators, Couplers, Loads, Directional Antennas, RF Cables and Connectors.

1. Qualification

Essential: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, Telecommunications or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
