- The Organic World is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, ensure excellent customer service, manage inventory, and improve store profitability.

- The ideal candidate should have strong leadership abilities, retail operations expertise, and experience in managing store teams, inventory, sales performance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

- Manage overall store operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.

- Ensure adherence to SOPs, company policies, and applicable compliance standards.

- Maintain store hygiene, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards.

- Ensure productive coordination between different store functions.

Sales & Business Performance

- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

- Drive customer footfall and improve conversion through promotions and local marketing activities.

- Monitor category-wise sales performance and take corrective actions when required.

- Track and improve key store KPIs, including sales, ATV, ASP, conversion rate, and customer satisfaction.

- Identify opportunities to improve overall store performance and profitability.

Inventory Management

- Ensure optimum stock availability and minimize stock-outs.

- Monitor inventory movement and inward and outward stock processes.

- Control wastage, damages, expiry management, and shrinkage.

- Conduct regular stock audits and inventory reconciliation.

- Ensure proper stock handling and availability of products across categories.

Team Management

- Lead, train, motivate, and develop store staff.

- Prepare staff rosters and manage manpower effectively.

- Monitor employee performance and drive productivity.

- Ensure discipline, attendance, and employee engagement.

- Allocate responsibilities effectively to maintain smooth store operations.

Customer Service

- Deliver an excellent customer experience.





- Resolve customer complaints and escalations promptly and professionally.

- Build customer loyalty through personalized service and membership programs.

- Monitor customer feedback and identify areas for service improvement.

Financial Management

- Manage store expenses and support improvement in overall profitability.

- Monitor cash handling and billing accuracy.

- Ensure proper banking-related activities and cash management.

- Maintain compliance with audit and financial control processes.

Experience

Job Requirements

- Experience in supermarkets, grocery, FMCG, or modern trade is preferred.

Education

- Graduate in any discipline.

- MBA is preferred.

Technical & Operational Skills

- Strong knowledge of retail store operations.

- Good understanding of inventory management and stock control.

- Knowledge of merchandising and sales operations.

- Proficiency in MS Excel.

- Familiarity with retail management systems.
