: General Labourer – Night Shift

1. Job Purpose

To support the production team in the smooth and safe operation of food-processing machinery by assisting with material handling, machine-area cleaning, packing, loading/unloading, and other general production activities during the night shift.
1. Key Responsibilities

Machine & Production Support

- Assist machine operators in the operation of food-processing/Atta Chakki machines.
- Load raw materials such as wheat/atta into designated machine hoppers as instructed.
- Collect and transfer finished products to the designated packing/storage area.
- Assist in changing bags, containers and packaging materials.
- Monitor the machine area and immediately report unusual noise, leakage, blockage, overheating or any other abnormal condition to the Supervisor.
- Ensure continuous material flow as instructed by the machine operator.

Material Handling

- Loading and unloading of raw materials and finished goods.
- Move bags, cartons, packaging materials and other production materials within the factory.
- Stack finished goods properly in the designated area.
- Maintain proper housekeeping around material storage and production areas.

Cleaning & Housekeeping

- Clean the machine surroundings, production floor and work area during and after the shift.
- Remove atta/wheat spillage and production waste as per company procedure.
- Assist with cleaning of machine parts only when instructed and after the machine has been safely stopped.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards required for a food manufacturing facility.

Safety & Hygiene

- Follow all factory safety rules and instructions.
- Wear required PPE such as safety shoes, gloves, mask,



hairnet/cap and other protective equipment.
- Never put hands or tools inside a running machine.
- Do not operate machinery without proper authorization/training.
- Immediately report any unsafe condition, accident, injury or machine abnormality to the Supervisor.
- Follow food-safety and personal-hygiene requirements at all times.

Night Shift Responsibilities

- Maintain production support throughout the assigned night shift.
- Ensure the machine area remains clean and organized during the shift.
- Assist the operator during production breakdowns, material changes and cleaning activities, as instructed.
- Complete shift handover and report pending work/issues to the next shift or Supervisor.

1. Eligibility

- Education: No formal qualification mandatory; basic literacy preferred.
- Experience: 0–2 years in factory, food manufacturing, production, packing or general labour work preferred.
- Freshers may be considered based on suitability.
- Physically fit and capable of standing, walking and handling materials for extended periods.
- Willingness to work permanently/regularly in the night shift.

1. Important Safety Restriction





The General Labourer is not authorized to independently operate, repair, open, dismantle or adjust food-processing machinery unless specifically trained and authorized by the Company. All machine maintenance, electrical work, mechanical repairs and safety-related interventions must be performed only by authorized/qualified personnel.

1. Working Conditions

- Work will primarily be performed inside a food manufacturing/production facility.
- Exposure to machinery noise, flour/atta dust and physically demanding activities may occur.
- Employee must follow all PPE, hygiene and safety requirements.
- Night-shift working is mandatory for this position.

- Follow instructions of the Production Supervisor/Shift In-Charge.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
- Handle company materials and products carefully.
- Prevent unnecessary wastage and damage.
- Immediately report machine abnormalities and safety hazards.
- Maintain discipline and professional conduct.
- Follow all company policies, food-safety procedures and factory rules.
