: Freight Broker Experience: 2–3 Years Industry: US Logistics / Freight & Transportation Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: US Shift / Night Shift Location: [Mohali/Chandigarh – On-site] About the Role We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Freight Broker to join our US Logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating freight movements, building strong relationships with carriers and shippers, negotiating rates, and ensuring timely and efficient transportation of loads across the US.
Key Responsibilities - Source and negotiate with reliable carriers to cover available freight loads.
- Coordinate with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to ensure smooth movement of shipments.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates while maintaining company profitability.
- Search for and book loads through load boards and other industry platforms.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers and transportation partners.
- Track shipments and proactively address delays, issues, or operational challenges.
- Verify carrier information, availability, insurance, and required documentation.
- Manage rate confirmations, load details, and other relevant freight documentation.
- Monitor market rates and transportation trends to identify profitable opportunities.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication with all stakeholders.
- Maintain records of loads,
carriers, rates, and transactions.
- Follow company policies, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Requirements - 2–3 years of relevant experience in US Freight Brokerage / Logistics.
- Strong understanding of the US trucking and freight industry.
- Hands-on experience with Load Boards such as DAT and Truckstop.
- Good knowledge of freight rates, lanes, carrier sourcing, and negotiations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a rapid-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in US night shifts.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and logistics software is preferred.
