Our client is looking to engage with a Consultant-SAP & AI Enterprise Platform Value Chain Specialist.

Key responsibilities

- Assess the impact of AI/GenAI across the SAP delivery lifecycle , including:
- Requirements gathering and analysis
- Solution design and configuration
- Development
- Testing and test automation
- Data migration
- Deployment and release activities
- Evaluate AI applications across SAP package implementation projects , identifying activities that can be automated, accelerated or delivered with fewer FTEs.
- Assess AI use cases across SAP application enhancement and support , including:
- Incident resolution
- Application maintenance
- Enhancements
- Root-cause analysis
- Testing
- Documentation and knowledge management
- Quantify or provide practical benchmarks for productivity improvement and potential FTE reduction across different SAP service work types.
- Distinguish between:
- AI use cases with proven productivity benefits
- Use cases where benefits are emerging or still being validated
- Areas where AI adoption remains constrained by technical, process or governance considerations
- Evaluate the AI tooling landscape for SAP delivery , including the relative applicability of:
- SAP Joule
- SAP-specific third-party AI tools
- General-purpose LLMs / GenAI platforms




- Other AI-enabled development and delivery tools
- Provide perspective on how leading IT services providers are embedding AI into SAP delivery models .
- Assess how AI adoption is likely to change:
- Delivery team structures
- Role responsibilities
- Skill requirements
- Effort allocation
- FTE requirements
- Delivery economics
- Develop a granular view of the SAP enterprise-platform value chain , mapping AI opportunities to specific delivery activities and associated productivity/FTE impact.
- Provide expert input to the case team through working sessions, interviews, analysis and validation of hypotheses .

Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of professional experience in SAP delivery, consulting, enterprise applications or IT services.
- Deep expertise in SAP implementation and delivery , preferably across multiple SAP lifecycle stages.
- Demonstrable expertise in AI/GenAI applications within SAP delivery environments .
- Hands-on understanding of how AI is being applied across:
- SAP implementation
- SAP configuration
- SAP development
- SAP testing
- SAP data migration
- SAP deployment
- SAP application maintenance and support
- SAP enhancements
- Solid understanding of AI-driven productivity improvement and FTE reduction within SAP services.
- Ability to assess the maturity and effectiveness of different AI tools, including SAP Joule, SAP-focused third-party tools and general-purpose LLMs .
