Role Description The Freelance Business Development Manager will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities, primarily within the IT services and consulting space. This on-site role, based in Gurugram, involves prospecting potential clients, conducting meetings and presentations, and building strong, long-term customer relationships.

Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, maintaining a pipeline of leads, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with delivery and recruitment teams to ensure client requirements are met. The role also includes market research, monitoring industry trends, and providing regular sales updates and forecasts to management. This is a contract position, offering flexibility while requiring consistent on-site collaboration with internal stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within IT services, consulting, or related sectors.
- Strong skills in lead generation, client prospecting,



and relationship management, with the ability to convert opportunities into successful engagements.
- Ability to develop sales strategies, prepare proposals, and negotiate pricing and contract terms effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
- Solid understanding of IT services, staffing solutions, or digital transformation offerings, and the ability to articulate their value to clients.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a contract-based, on-site environment in Gurugram.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field; relevant qualified certifications in sales or business development are an advantage.
- Prior experience working with corporate clients or enterprise accounts in the Gurugram/Delhi NCR region is highly beneficial.
