About Guardex

Guardex turns existing CCTV cameras into AI-powered insights that help factories improve operations, safety, and compliance. We’re building an AI supervisor that helps businesses understand what’s happening across their facilities and take action.

About the role

Work directly with the founders across brand positioning, marketing, growth, product management, and AI projects. You’ll help turn ideas and customer needs into clear plans, coordinate with the team, and take ownership of execution.

This role is suited to final-year students and recent graduates who want hands-on experience building an AI company and are willing to learn across business and technology.

Key responsibilities

- Brand positioning: Support the founders in defining how Guardex presents its products, communicates its value, and connects with different industries.
- Marketing and growth: Help develop marketing strategies, plan campaigns, explore partnerships, and track results to identify what works.
- Content creation: Research and create LinkedIn content, presentations, case studies, and product explainers.
- Product management: Understand customer workflows, document requirements, help prioritise features, and coordinate with engineering to track development and review outcomes.
- Dataset management: Collect, organise, and curate image and video datasets for AI use cases. Coordinate annotation, check data quality, and maintain transparent documentation with the AI team.
- Customer engagement: Support product demos and customer conversations, capture feedback, and follow up on requirements and next steps.
- AI and market research:



Research emerging AI applications, competitors, and industry needs to inform product and business decisions.
- Project execution: Manage timelines, track deliverables, coordinate across teams, and support the founders on new initiatives from idea to completion.

What we’re looking for

- A final-year student or recent graduate with an interest in AI, products, marketing, or entrepreneurship.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- A structured approach to research, organising information, and managing tasks.
- Attention to detail, especially when working with datasets and product requirements.
- Initiative, follow-through, and a willingness to learn unfamiliar tools and concepts.

Prior professional experience is not required. College projects, internships, personal initiatives, and examples of work you’ve taken ownership of are welcome.

What you’ll gain

Compensation The role begins with an unpaid phase, with the opportunity to transition to paid work based on performance and contribution. The duration, expected time commitment, and transition criteria will be agreed before joining. A paid role is not guaranteed.
