We are seeking a skilled Fixture Design Engineer with expertise in Siemens NX, Fixture Design, BOM Management, GD&T;, Assembly Design, and Teamcenter PLM. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing manufacturing, assembly, welding, machining, and inspection fixtures while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, manufacturability, and product lifecycle requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop assembly, welding, machining, checking, and inspection fixtures based on manufacturing and production requirements.

- Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and fixture assemblies using Siemens NX.

- Generate and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) for fixtures and tooling assemblies.

- Develop fixture concepts considering manufacturability, ergonomics, safety, quality, and cost requirements.

- Create and maintain assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and manufacturing documentation.

- Apply GD&T; principles and perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure fixture accuracy and functionality.

- Manage CAD models, drawings, BOMs, revisions, and releases through Teamcenter PLM.

- Collaborate with manufacturing, production, quality,



and tooling teams to support fixture development and implementation.

- Support fixture trials, validation, installation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Participate in design reviews, root cause analysis, and engineering change activities.

- Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and engineering best practices.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in Fixture Design for manufacturing, assembly, welding, machining, or inspection applications.

- Solid proficiency in Siemens NX for 3D modeling, assembly design, and drafting.

- Experience creating and managing BOMs (Bill of Materials).

- Strong knowledge of GD&T; (ASME Y14.5) and engineering drawing standards.

- Experience with Assembly Design, manufacturing documentation, and drafting.

- Working knowledge of Teamcenter PLM for product data, BOM, and document management.

- Understanding of machining, fabrication, welding, and manufacturing processes.

- Knowledge of tolerance analysis and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
