Responsible for the inspection, preventive maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of fire protection and life-safety systems to ensure they remain operational and compliant with applicable safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of fire protection systems.

- Inspect, test, and maintain fire pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, hose reels, fire extinguishers, and emergency equipment.

- Perform routine checks of fire pumps, jockey pumps, diesel pumps, valves, pressure gauges, and associated equipment.

- Troubleshoot faults in fire alarm panels, detectors, MCPs, sounders, and other fire alarm components.

- Conduct scheduled testing of fire alarm and firefighting systems and maintain test records.

- Identify equipment defects and coordinate necessary repairs or replacement of components.

- Ensure fire equipment is accessible, properly identified, and maintained in positive working condition.

- Maintain maintenance logs, inspection checklists, service reports, and equipment records.

- Support fire drills, emergency preparedness activities, and safety inspections.





- Follow site safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and applicable fire-safety regulations.

- Coordinate with contractors/vendors during installation, servicing, and major maintenance activities.

- Attend emergency call-outs and respond promptly to fire-system faults.

- Report major defects, risks, and system abnormalities to the Maintenance/Facility Manager.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Fire & Safety, or a related technical field.

- 1–5 years of experience in firefighting preferably in commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, malls, factories, or facilities.

- Knowledge of firefighting systems.

- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.

- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.

- Good communication and reporting skills.

- Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
