Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned, high-caliber financial professional to join us as a Financial Controller. This is a critical leadership role demanding a solid background in core accounting fields, coupled with absolute mastery over Indian statutory compliances. The ideal candidate will act as a primary Authorized Signatory for the organization and must possess proven experience managing the financial ecosystem of companies operating within the ₹100 Cr to ₹1,200 Cr turnover bracket.

You will be responsible for institutional financial control, robust tax administration, corporate governance, and team leadership.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Statutory Authority & Compliance (Authorized Signatory)

- GST & Direct Taxation: Serve as the authorized signatory for all Goods and Services Tax (GST) matters, including monthly/annual returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9/9C), reconciliations, and input tax credit (ITC) verification. Manage GST audits, department assessments, and litigations.
- TDS & Tax Administration: Oversee Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) and Tax Collected at Source (TCS) compliances, ensuring accurate deductions, timely treasury deposits, and error-free quarterly filing of TDS returns (Forms 24Q, 26Q, 27Q).
- Provident Fund (PF) & Labor Compliance: Act as the authorized authority for Employee Provident Fund (EPF), ESI, and other labor-related statutory accounts. Approve monthly challan generations, submissions, and employee grievance resolutions regarding PF transfers/withdrawals.

Financial Operations & Accounting Control

- Overhaul and supervise the entire accounting field operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger integrity,



and strict fixed asset management.
- Establish and enforce airtight internal financial controls (IFC) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to mitigate financial risk and prevent leakage.
- Lead and optimize the monthly, quarterly, and annual books closing processes under Indian GAAP and Ind-AS frameworks.

Banking, Treasury & Audit Management

- Manage corporate treasury operations, banking relationships, working capital cycles, and fund optimization strategies.
- Lead all statutory, internal, and tax audits by serving as the primary corporate interface for external auditors, ensuring timely resolution of audit notes.

Requirements & Qualifications

Core Eligibility Criteria

- Prior Designation: Must have already worked as a Financial Controller or an equivalent Head of Finance role.
- Experience: 10 to 15 years of progressive, hands-on experience strictly within core accounting and corporate financial control fields.
- Company Scale: Proven track record of managing finances for enterprises with an annual turnover between ₹100 Crore and ₹1,200 Crore.
- Age Bracket: 42 to 55 years (aligned with the maturity required for authorized sign-off and leadership dynamics at this scale).

Education & Technical Expertise

- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (Background in core accounting fields is mandatory).
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA / ICWA) designation is highly preferred.
- Deep computational familiarity with modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or advanced NetSuite implementations) and corporate banking portal management.

Leadership & Soft Skills

- Impeccable professional integrity required to bear the legal and corporate weight of an Authorized Signatory.
- Formidable leadership skills capable of steering, evaluating, and upskilling a multi-layered team of accountants and tax executives.

Pay: ₹2,400,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
