Midori Life is a modern wellness brand building premium, better-for-you products starting with matcha and expanding into functional wellness.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance accounting intern to manage the day-to-day financial operations of the business and work closely with the founding team.

About the RoleAs a Finance Associate, you will be responsible for keeping Midori Life's daily financial operations organised, accurate and up to date.

You will work closely with the founders, CA and operations team across invoicing, payments, expenses, reconciliation, GST coordination, accounts payable/receivable and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day financial transactions and bookkeeping
- Prepare and maintain sales invoices and purchase records
- Track accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Monitor customer payments and vendor payments
- Perform daily/weekly bank and payment gateway reconciliation
- Reconcile Shopify, Razorpay, marketplaces and other sales channels
- Maintain accurate records of expenses and business transactions
- Track purchase orders, vendor bills and outstanding payments
- Assist with GST-related data and monthly filing coordination with the CA
- Maintain financial records and supporting documents
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports
- Track revenue, expenses, gross margins and cash flow
- Monitor inventory-related financial data and procurement costs
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning
- Identify discrepancies and ensure financial data is accurate




- Coordinate with the CA, vendors, banks and other financial stakeholders
- Support the founders with financial analysis and decision-making

What We're Looking For
- 0–3 years of experience in finance, accounting or bookkeeping
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and follow-up skills
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial data
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong communication skills

Good to Have
- Experience with Zoho Books, Swipe or similar accounting software
- Experience with GST and Tally
- Experience working with D2C, FMCG or e-commerce businesses
- Understanding of Shopify, Razorpay or payment gateway reconciliation
- Experience working with startups
