- Key Responsibilities

Hotel Kitchen Equipment Specialist or Kitchen Technician maintains, operates, repairs, and sanitizes specialized commercial kitchen machinery and heavy equipment to ensure protected and continuous hotel food service operations.
- Equipment Operation &
- Monitoring: Safely operate heavy-duty cooking, baking, and processing machinery (such as industrial mixers, combi ovens, and dishwashing systems).
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, lubricate moving parts, test electrical connections, and calibrate thermostats on specialized heating and cooling units.
- Troubleshooting &
- Repairs:



Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, or plumbing failures in complex machinery like walk-in freezers, steam cookers, and ice-makers.
- Sanitation &
- Safety Compliance: Deep-clean specialized apparatus (grease traps, exhaust hoods, and fryer vats) to meet strict health and fire safety codes.
- Inventory &
- Spare Parts Management: Monitor stock levels for replacement parts, belts, valves, and specialized cleaning chemicals.
