- Assist in the triage, stabilization, and resuscitation of emergency patients under supervision of medical staff.

- Prepare and operate emergency care equipment (ventilators, defibrillators, suction machines, monitors, infusion pumps, etc.).

- Support in procedures such as IV cannulation, blood sampling, ECG, BLS/ACLS support, and wound care.

- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output charts, and emergency documentation accurately.

- Ensure availability, calibration, and maintenance of all critical care and life-saving equipment.

- Assist in secure patient transfer within the hospital (ICU, OT, wards) with proper protocols.

- Adhere to NABH standards, infection control practices, and emergency department SOPs.

- Maintain adequate stock of emergency drugs, consumables, and disposables.

- Provide technical support during mass casualty incidents, disaster drills, and emergency codes.

- Work in coordination with emergency physicians, nurses, and paramedics for smooth operations.
