Elevator Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Elevator Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of elevator systems. The ideal candidate should have valuable knowledge of both electrical and mechanical elevator systems and be able to handle breakdowns and preventive maintenance efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, service, and repair elevators and related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of elevator systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
- Attend elevator breakdowns and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Check and maintain motors, controllers, contactors, relays, door systems, sensors, limit switches, wiring, and other elevator components.
- Carry out elevator installation and commissioning work as required.
- Replace faulty or worn-out components and ensure proper functioning of the elevator.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain required safety standards at all times.
- Coordinate with customers, supervisors, and other technicians regarding service and repair work.




- Maintain service records and report completed and pending work.

Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field preferred.
- Experience in elevator installation, maintenance, or repair is preferred.
- Good practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to use basic electrical testing tools and hand tools.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service.

Experience 1–8 years of experience in elevator/lift installation, maintenance, or servicing. Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered for junior positions.
