Job Summary: Sunworks is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical AutoCAD Draftsman to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have 2year hands-on experience in preparing electrical engineering drawings for Ground Mounted and Rooftop Solar PV Projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate electrical layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), cable routing drawings, inverter layouts, and other technical drawings required for project execution.

The role requires close coordination with Electrical Design Engineers, Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure timely and accurate project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

● Electrical Drafting : Prepare electrical layout drawings, SLDs, cable routing, conduit layouts, and cable trench drawings.

● Solar Plant Design : Develop inverter layouts, SCB layouts, transformer layouts, equipment layouts, and switchyard drawings.





● Cross-Functional Coordination : Coordinate with Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Procurement, and Project teams.

● Drawing Management : Maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and engineering records.

● Site Support : Provide drawing clarifications, prepare as-built drawings, and support site execution teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

● B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

● 2 years of experience.

● Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D.

● Experience in preparing Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).

● Knowledge of Ground Mounted Solar PV Electrical Systems.

● Experience preparing Cable Routing Drawings.

● Knowledge of Cable Trench Layouts.

● Experience preparing Inverter Layouts.

● Understanding of SCB, LT Panel, HT Panel, Transformer, RMU, and Switchyard layouts.

● Ability to interpret electrical engineering drawings.

● Knowledge of electrical drafting standards.
