Working Hours: Approximately 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM (Flexible based on mutual availability)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, caring and creative Early Childhood Development Educator to provide one-on-one, play-based early learning and developmental enrichment in a home environment.

The role combines Montessori-inspired early learning with music, singing, rhythm and movement to support language, cognitive, sensory, emotional, social, fine motor and gross motor development.

The educator will create a fun, nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, communication, creativity, confidence and a lifelong love for learning.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate, play-based learning sessions.
- Support English language and early communication development through storytelling, reading, songs, rhymes and everyday conversation.
- Conduct music and movement activities, including nursery rhymes, action songs, rhythm exercises, clapping games and musical play.
- Introduce the child to different sounds, rhythms and simple age-appropriate musical instruments.
- Use music to encourage language development, listening, imitation, coordination and self-expression.
- Singing ability is preferred; ability to play keyboard, guitar, ukulele or another musical instrument would be an added advantage.
- Design age-appropriate sensory, cognitive and developmental activities.




- Encourage creativity, exploration, problem-solving and independent learning.
- Promote fine and gross motor development through movement and interactive play.
- Introduce Montessori-inspired and other evidence-based early-learning activities where appropriate.
- Conduct storytelling and picture-book sessions.
- Gradually introduce age-appropriate concepts such as animals, objects, colours, shapes, numbers and vocabulary as the child develops.
- Observe developmental progress and recommend suitable activities as the child grows.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to maintain consistency in developmental goals.
- Maintain a safe, positive, nurturing and engaging learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma/Certification in Early Childhood Education (ECCE), Montessori Education, Child Development, Developmental Psychology, Music Education or a related field.
- Montessori Infant & Toddler (0–3 Years) training/certification is highly preferred.
- Experience in music, singing, dance, movement or performing arts for young children is highly desirable.
- Ability to sing confidently and engage a young child through music and expression.
- Ability to play a musical instrument is an added advantage.
- Ideally 2–5 years of experience working with infants, toddlers or young children.
- Infant CPR and First Aid certification is an added advantage.
- Excellent spoken English and communication skills.
- Patient, energetic, expressive, creative, reliable and genuinely passionate about early childhood development.
