About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Director to lead and scale our people function. This role owns the full spectrum of human resources strategy and execution from talent acquisition and organizational design to performance management, compensation, culture, and compliance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can operate at both the strategic and operational level, partnering closely with leadership to build an organization capable of supporting rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and execute the company's overall HR strategy, aligning people initiatives with business goals
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team on organizational structure, workforce
planning, and people-related risk
- Build scalable HR systems, policies, and processes suited to a growing technology organization
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Own end-to-end recruitment strategy across technical and business functions
- Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs and build talent pipelines
- Strengthen employer branding to attract senior and specialized talent
Performance & Talent Management
- Design and implement performance management frameworks, including goal-setting, review cycles, and
feedback systems
- Lead succession planning and leadership development initiatives
- Drive career pathing and internal mobility programs
Compensation & Benefits
- Design competitive compensation structures and benefits programs benchmarked against the market
- Oversee annual compensation reviews, bonus structures, and equity/incentive planning
- Ensure pay equity and transparency across the organization
Culture & Employee Engagement
- Champion company culture and values as the organization scales
- Design and lead employee engagement, wellness, and retention programs
- Own internal communications related to HR policies and organizational changes
Compliance & HR Operations
- Ensure full compliance with applicable labor laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements
- Oversee HRIS systems, payroll coordination, and HR data integrity
- Manage employee relations matters, grievances, and disciplinary processes with sound judgment and
discretion
Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and mentor the HR team as the function scales
- Establish clear metrics and reporting to track HR effectiveness (attrition, time-to-hire, engagement scores,
etc.)
Requirements
Experience
- 1520 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 6–8 years in a senior HR leadership role (HR
Director, Head of HR, or VP HR)
- Proven experience building or scaling HR functions, ideally within a technology, product, or fast-growth
environment
- Strong track record in talent acquisition, organizational design, and compensation strategy
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- MBA or Master's in HR/Organizational Psychology preferred
- HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, CIPD, SPHR, or equivalent) are a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategy to company objectives
- Deep knowledge of employment law and statutory compliance requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Data-driven approach to HR decision-making, with familiarity in HRIS platforms
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, and sound judgment in handling sensitive matters
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving organizational environment
