Job Summary

Protocol Labels India Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled and responsible Digital Printing Operator to operate and maintain digital printing machines used for label and packaging production. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality output, smooth machine operations, and timely completion of production targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate digital printing machines for barcode labels, product labels, stickers, and packaging materials.
- Set up machines according to job specifications, artwork, substrate, size, and print requirements.
- Check print quality, colour accuracy, registration, and overall output during production.
- Perform machine calibration, basic troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
- Load and unload printing materials such as label stock, rolls, films, and other substrates.
- Monitor ink/toner levels and replace consumables when required.
- Ensure correct job settings and production parameters before starting each job.
- Identify and report printing defects, machine issues, and quality problems to the supervisor.
- Maintain proper production records, job sheets, wastage details, and machine logs.
- Minimise material wastage and ensure optimum machine utilisation.
- Follow SOPs, quality standards, safety procedures, and 5S practices.
- Coordinate with the Design, Pre-Press, Production, and Quality teams for smooth job execution.




- Complete assigned production jobs within the planned timelines.
- Keep the machine and work area clean and organised.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in digital printing machine operation.
- Knowledge of label printing and digital print production processes.
- Basic understanding of colour management, print quality, and registration.
- Ability to read and understand job specifications and production instructions.
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting and machine maintenance.
- Valuable attention to detail and quality consciousness.
- Ability to work under production targets and deadlines.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Experience Experience with digital label printing machines, HP Indigo, Epson, Konica Minolta, Xeikon, Domino, Durst, or similar digital printing equipment will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be technically skilled, quality-focused, disciplined, and willing to work in a production environment. Candidates with hands-on experience in digital label printing will be preferred. Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
