About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Design Researcher who is passionate about understanding user needs, behaviors, motivations, and experiences to drive the creation of impactful digital products and services.

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Design Research / UX Research and the ability to independently manage and deliver end-to-end research projects, from planning and execution through synthesis and stakeholder presentation. You will work closely with product, design, business, and technology teams to ensure customer and colleague insights are embedded throughout the product and service lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Insights

- Plan, design, and conduct research across discovery, design, delivery, and optimization phases.
- Apply qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to uncover user needs, pain points, motivations, and behaviors.
- Conduct user interviews, usability studies, surveys, contextual inquiries, diary studies, and other research activities.
- Analyze and synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
- Present research findings through compelling storytelling, workshops, and executive presentations.
- Advocate for user-centered thinking and evidence-based decision making across teams.
- Develop and maintain research repositories, frameworks, and knowledge-sharing practices.

Experience Improvement & Service Design

- Translate research findings into experience opportunities and strategic recommendations.
- Create customer journey maps, service blueprints, ecosystem maps, and experience frameworks.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, co-creation sessions, and design activities.




- Support future-state experience concepts and service improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Delivery teams to ensure solutions remain grounded in user needs.
- Apply systems thinking to understand the relationships between people, processes, and technology.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential

- 5+ years of experience in Design Research, UX Research, User Research, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end research projects independently.
- Hands-on experience with discovery research, usability testing, and evaluative research.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills with the ability to convert findings into business and design recommendations.
- Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Experience working within Agile and cross-functional product teams.
- Ability to influence product and experience decisions using data and user insights.

Preferred

- Experience in Service Design and Experience Strategy.
- Expertise in customer journey mapping and service blueprinting.
- Workshop facilitation and co-design experience.
- Understanding of UX and Product Design practices.
- Experience working on complex customer or employee experience programs.
- Familiarity with design thinking and systems thinking methodologies.
