Position Title: Design Engineer II - India

Experience Requirements

- Minimum of 3 - 6 years of qualified experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and 3D modeling.
- Knowledge of MS office and Project management is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

1. Utilizes technical knowledge in applying engineering fundamental principles to design and improve Flexco products.
2. Performs mechanical calculations, stress analysis, and simulations to ensure that designs meet performance, safety, and cost requirements.
3. Uses CAD software (such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD) to create 2D and 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
4.



Oversees prototype development, testing, and validation to ensure designs meet functional requirements and customer expectations.
5. Manages and executes Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Product Change Orders (PCOs) to assess design impacts, prepare comprehensive documentation, and ensure compliance and product integrity.
6. Collaborates with senior engineers, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
7. Communicates design progress and technical details effectively to team members and stakeholders, advising others on product functions and applications as needed.
8. Assists with troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues systematically during production and testing phases.
9. Mentors and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting design enhancements and process efficiencies.
10. Willingness to travel across India/outside India during engineering product development, troubleshooting site issues and clarifying customer technical needs.
