Job Purpose

This is a hands-on role focused on managing the complete data lifecyclefrom ingestion to reporting. The Data Warehouse Specialist will design and maintain data pipelines, ensure data accuracy, and develop reports aligned with business requirements. This role is critical in delivering reliable data to power business intelligence and decision-making.

Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Talend/Informatica to ingest data from multiple sources.

Implement data transformation and cleansing procedures within the staging area.

Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to support reporting and analysis.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into transactional, summary, and drill-down reports.

Ensure accuracy, availability, and performance of the data warehouse.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.

Experience





- Proven experience in a data warehousing or ETL developer role.
- Prior experience in BFSI domain highly preferred.
- Experience range of 4 to 7 years

Skills Required

- Robust SQL expertise with ability to write and optimize complex queries.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Talend preferred, Informatica considered).
- Familiarity with data warehousing platforms (Vertica, Oracle, or similar).
- Solid understanding of data modeling, fact and dimension tables, and data warehousing architecture.
- Proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Functional Competencies required

- MS Office (good excel skills to be preferred)
- Proficiency in SQL and ETL tools.
- Data modeling and performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts.
