Role Description The Credit Manager role at Excel Trade Plus is a full-time, on-site position based in Thrissur.

The Credit

Manager will oversee credit approvals, monitor customer credit limits, and manage collections to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize bad debts. Typical responsibilities include assessing creditworthiness, analyzing financial information and payment histories, setting and reviewing credit policies, and preparing regular credit risk reports for management. The role also involves close coordination with sales and finance teams to resolve credit issues, negotiate payment terms, and support business growth while maintaining appropriate risk controls.

The Credit

Manager is expected to implement best practices in credit management, ensure compliance with internal guidelines, and continuously improve credit processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Credit Management and Credit Risk Management.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and a positive understanding of Credit assessment.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Finance and related financial principles.
- Relevant experience in credit control, collections, or financial analysis in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail,



and proficiency in spreadsheets or financial software.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Credit Control / Accounts Receivable / Collections.
- Strong knowledge of customer credit management and collection processes.
- Experience in B2B / Manufacturing / Engineering / Industrial Products will be preferred.
- Strong negotiation, follow-up and customer relationship skills.
- Experience managing customer outstanding across multiple locations or territories.
- Valuable analytical and financial skills.
- Strong communication and inter-departmental coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong ownership, accountability and target-oriented approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Thrissur and manage multiple accounts and priorities responsibly.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
