Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Workday HR Reporting Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Workday reports that provide meaningful workforce insights to HR and business leaders.
In addition to report development, the role will help establish reporting and analytics best practices by creating Process Flows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that define how reporting requests are managed, developed, reviewed, and delivered across the organization.
This position requires strong expertise in Workday Reporting, HR Data Management, Analytics, and Stakeholder Collaboration within a global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Reporting & Analytics
Develop, maintain, and optimize Workday reports, including Advanced, Matrix, and Composite Reports.
Design and configure calculated fields and custom reporting solutions to address complex business requirements.
Deliver scalable, user-friendly reporting solutions aligned with global HR reporting standards.
Create and maintain dashboards that provide actionable workforce and HR insights.
Reporting Operations & Support
Support and enhance existing reporting solutions.
Troubleshoot reporting issues and resolve user-reported errors.
Monitor report effectiveness and implement continuous improvements.
Analyze Workday release updates and assess impacts on existing reporting frameworks.
Process Governance & Documentation
Establish and document reporting processes, workflows, and standards.
Create SOPs, process maps, and reporting governance documentation.
Define and monitor KPIs related to reporting quality, accuracy,
and service delivery.
Maintain reporting documentation and knowledge repositories to support long-term sustainability.
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with HR leaders, business stakeholders, and functional teams to gather requirements.
Facilitate reporting review sessions and stakeholder feedback discussions.
Ensure reporting deliverables align with business objectives and compliance requirements.
Provide recommendations and insights that enable data-driven workforce decisions.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to establishing reporting best practices, version control processes, and request management frameworks.
Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve operational efficiency.
Stay current with Workday functionality, reporting innovations, and HR analytics best practices.
Required Qualifications Education & Experience
12+ years of hands-on Workday Reporting experience.
Workday Certifications preferred.
Team Management Experience Preferred. Strong understanding of HR processes, including:
