We are looking for an experienced and highly responsible Content Developer to manage the editorial and content workflow of our online and print magazine.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in content development, editing, journalism, magazine publishing, digital media or a related field, with strong expertise in English writing and communication.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete content workflow of the magazine, coordinating with authors and contributors, developing original content, editing and rewriting articles, ensuring content quality, selecting appropriate images and ensuring that the magazine is published with high editorial standards.

The role requires someone who can take ownership of the magazine's content and overall editorial success, work independently and execute responsibilities according to the direction and priorities provided by senior management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Editorial & Content Management

- Manage the complete content development and editorial workflow for both online and print magazine editions.
- Plan, develop, edit, organize and coordinate content according to the magazine's editorial calendar and requirements.
- Create original articles, features, interviews, opinion pieces, industry stories and other editorial content.
- Rewrite and adapt relevant content from other news articles, publications and credible sources while maintaining originality, quality and appropriate editorial standards.
- Research and develop content related to entrepreneurship, business, startups, Ayurveda, healthcare, manufacturing, industry, technology, leadership and other relevant sectors.
- Review all content thoroughly for grammar, spelling, sentence structure, clarity, accuracy, consistency and overall readability.
- Make submitted articles from authors and contributors error-free and publication-ready.
- Ensure that articles are properly structured, edited and presented according to the magazine's editorial style.

Author & Contributor Coordination
- Coordinate with authors, writers, industry experts, guest contributors and other content providers.
- Assign articles and content requirements to authors based on the editorial plan.
- Follow up with authors to ensure timely submission of articles.
- Review submitted content and communicate corrections, additions and modifications to authors.
- Maintain professional relationships with contributors and encourage quality and timely content submissions.
- Coordinate multiple contributors simultaneously and ensure that the editorial schedule is maintained.

Content Research & Development
- Identify relevant and interesting topics for the magazine.
- Continuously research current developments, trends, news and stories in entrepreneurship, business, Ayurveda, manufacturing and other relevant sectors.




- Develop original story ideas and convert them into engaging magazine content.
- Identify useful news stories and information from credible sources and rewrite/adapt them into suitable original editorial content.
- Conduct interviews or coordinate interviews with entrepreneurs, business leaders, professionals, experts and industry representatives whenever required.

Images & Visual Content
- Identify and provide appropriate images for articles and features.
- Coordinate with designers or other team members regarding images, layouts and visual requirements.
- Ensure that images are relevant, appropriate and suitable for publication.
- Wherever necessary, source suitable images from legitimate and permitted sources.

Magazine Workflow & Ownership
- Take ownership of the complete content workflow from topic identification and content planning through writing, editing, image selection, proofreading and final submission for publication.
- Coordinate with management, authors, designers, printers, digital teams and other stakeholders involved in the magazine.
- Ensure that all content is completed within the required deadlines.
- Track the status of articles and follow up on pending content, corrections, images and approvals.
- Work according to the priorities, editorial direction and strategic guidance provided by senior management.
- Proactively identify gaps, delays and quality issues in the editorial process and take corrective action.
- Take responsibility for maintaining the quality, consistency and overall success of the magazine.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in content writing, content development, journalism, magazine publishing, editorial management, digital media or a similar role.
- Proven experience in handling content for online and/or print magazines, publications, newspapers, newsletters or digital media platforms.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong English grammar, vocabulary, sentence construction and proofreading skills.
- Ability to write clear, engaging, professional and reader-friendly content.
- Strong research and fact-checking abilities.
- Ability to rewrite and adapt information from news articles and other sources into original, well-structured content.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills.
- Good understanding of magazine editorial processes and content workflows.
- Ability to manage multiple articles, authors and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.




- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
