Job Responsibilities

- Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently as per production requirements.

- Prepare and modify CNC programs using G-code/M-code.

- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining symbols.

- Set up machines, tools, work offsets, tool offsets, and job fixtures.

- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.

- Perform first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks using measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, height gauge, etc.

- Make necessary program/offset corrections to achieve required dimensions and surface finish.

- Handle job loading/unloading and ensure proper clamping and alignment.

- Troubleshoot common machine, tooling, and programming issues.

- Maintain production records, tool-change records, and machine-related documentation.

- Minimize rejection, tool wear, downtime, and material wastage.

- Follow company safety procedures and 5S practices.





- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of CNC machine operation and programming.

- Knowledge of Fanuc/Siemens/Mitsubishi controls will be an advantage.

- Ability to interpret mechanical/engineering drawings.

- Knowledge of CNC turning and/or VMC machining.

- Knowledge of cutting tools, tool selection, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.

- Good knowledge of precision measuring instruments.

- Ability to troubleshoot machining and programming problems.

- Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software is an advantage.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Machinist, Tool & Die, Mechanical, Production Engineering or equivalent.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
