We are looking for a Civil Engineer with experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D to join our team and support a US-based client on a variety of civil engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and design of civil engineering projects, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility design. - Prepare plans, sections, and construction details using AutoCAD/Civil 3D based on sketches, markups, and verbal instructions. - Transform survey data, conceptual layouts, and preliminary designs into construction drawings, including: - Existing Conditions Plans - Dimensioned Site Plans - Site Grading & Drainage Plans - Site Utility Plans - Utility Plan & Profile Drawings - Revise drawings based on engineer markups, client comments, and agency review comments. - Coordinate with project engineers to incorporate design revisions and ensure drawing accuracy. - Maintain drafting standards and produce high-quality construction documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in civil engineering or construction (relevant internship experience may be considered). - Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D. - Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, site development, grading, drainage, and utility design. - Familiarity with engineering design software and drafting standards. - Robust analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Must be willing to attend an in-person interview.
