Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage the company's financial accounting, taxation, compliance, reporting, and financial controls. The candidate should preferably have strong experience in the construction/real estate industry and should be familiar with project-wise accounting, contractor payments, GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Financial Management

- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor project-wise income, expenses, profitability, and cash flow.
- Review accounts payable and receivable.
- Monitor contractor, subcontractor, vendor, and client accounts.
- Ensure proper accounting of project expenses and construction costs.

1. GST & Taxation

- Handle GST returns, reconciliation, and compliance.
- Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and returns.
- Ensure timely income tax compliance and related filings.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors when required.
- Handle tax assessments, notices, and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements.

1. Construction Project Accounting

- Maintain project-wise cost and revenue records.
- Track material, labour, subcontractor, and other project expenses.
- Analyze project budgets against actual expenditure.
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) accounting.
- Review project profitability and identify cost overruns.
- Verify contractor bills, work orders, purchase bills, and supporting documents.
- Assist management in cost-control measures.

1. MIS & Financial Reporting

- Prepare monthly MIS reports for management.
- Provide financial analysis and management reports.
- Prepare cash-flow statements and fund-flow projections.
- Monitor receivables, payables, and outstanding payments.
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Audit & Compliance

- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors.

1. Banking & Cash Flow Management

- Monitor company bank accounts and transactions.
- Manage working capital and cash-flow requirements.
- Coordinate with banks for financial transactions and documentation.
- Monitor loans, interest payments, guarantees, and other financial obligations.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of construction/project accounting.
- Solid financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Tally / ERP / Accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of project costing and budgeting.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage a finance team and coordinate with management, auditors, vendors, and contractors.

Qualification
- CA – Chartered Accountant (Mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting preferred.
- Additional qualifications in Finance or Taxation will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong practical knowledge.
- Construction/real-estate accounting experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of project costing and financial controls.
- Ability to independently handle finance and taxation functions.
- Good leadership and decision-making skills.
- Ensure timely completion of statutory audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit schedules.
- Implement and monitor internal financial controls.
- Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.

Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month

Candidates with experience in construction, infrastructure, real estate, EPC, or contracting companies will be preferred. Experience in handling multiple construction projects will be an added advantage.
