Role Description The CCTV Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. The person in this position will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining CCTV cameras, recorders, and related security equipment at client locations. Daily tasks include site surveys, cable laying, mounting devices, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring proper system integration with other ELV solutions such as access control and intrusion alarms.

The CCTV Engineer will document installations, prepare basic technical reports, provide user training on system operation, and coordinate with the project and support teams to resolve service requests within agreed timelines.



The role also involves following safety standards and company procedures while delivering skilled customer service.

Qualifications

- Strong technical skills in CCTV installation, configuration, and maintenance, including familiarity with IP and analog camera systems, DVR/NVR setup, and network-based surveillance.
- Knowledge of ELV and security systems such as access control, intrusion alarms, and basic networking (LAN, switches, cabling, IP addressing) for system integration.
- Ability to perform site surveys, read basic technical drawings, handle tools and equipment safely, and manage cable routing and device mounting.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing hardware, connectivity, and software issues, with attention to detail and systematic work practices.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams, including transparent documentation of work performed and user guidance on system operation.
- Relevant technical diploma, ITI, or degree in electronics, electrical, telecommunications, or a related field; prior experience in CCTV or ELV projects is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site at different customer locations, adhere to safety standards, and occasionally work flexible hours based on project needs.
