Role Description The Business Intelligence role at PPStack is a full time remote position focused on turning data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decisions. This role involves gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources, building and maintaining dashboards and reports, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into BI solutions.
The individual will work with data models, ETL processes, and data warehouses to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability.
Daily responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities, documenting BI processes, and contributing to continuous improvement of analytics tools and data workflows.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and experience in Data Analytics to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable recommendations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Warehousing and Data Modeling to design, optimize, and maintain scalable BI data structures.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools and processes to integrate and prepare data from diverse systems.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and SQL for querying and reporting.
- Candidates should possess solid understanding of data governance, data quality best practices, and documentation of BI solutions.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in EdTech, education services, or technology-driven organizations is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is desirable.
