About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with hands-on experience in SaaS sales, specifically GST Billing / POS software, catering to Retail, F&B;, and

FMCG businesses.

This is an on-field role where the candidate will manage the complete sales cycle—from prospecting and product demonstrations to negotiations and deal closure—while building strong relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and manage the complete sales lifecycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation and closure.
- Identify and approach potential customers in Retail, F&B; and FMCG sectors.
- Conduct in-person meetings, demos and product presentations.
- Drive new customer acquisition through field visits and local market coverage.
- Recommend suitable SaaS solutions based on customer needs.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and forecasting accuracy.
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with Product, Support and Onboarding teams.
- Stay updated on GST compliance,



billing trends and competitor offerings.
- Maintain CRM hygiene with accurate and timely updates.

Key Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of SaaS sales experience (GST Billing/POS preferred).
- Proven experience with Retail, F&B; or FMCG customers.
- Solid understanding of field sales and local market dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to independently close deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and Go-To-Market (GTM) ready mindset.
- Ability to perform in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems.

Preferred Skills
- Experience selling subscription-based SaaS products.
- Knowledge of GST regulations and billing workflows.
- Existing network in local merchant/business communities.
- Experience in channel/partner sales is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
