Business Analyst - Insurance (Techno-Functional BA)

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (Insurance Domain) with strong techno-functional expertise to work on insurance transformation and digital initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Insurance Claims, Policy Administration, Requirements Gathering, Process Analysis, and Agile delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and optimize insurance business processes across Claims, Policy Administration, Underwriting, and FNOL.
- Gather, document, and manage business and functional requirements.
- Create user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs/FRDs, process flows, and business rules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, development, and QA teams.
- Support solution design, API integrations, data flows, and system interfaces.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and UAT activities.





Required Skills

- Experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance domain.
- Robust knowledge of Claims Management and Policy Administration processes.
- Techno-functional BA experience with understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows.
- Expertise in requirement gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, BPMN, or Lucidchart.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar Insurance platforms.
- Exposure to SQL and data analysis.
- Insurance certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, PSM, CSM, LOMA, or AINS.
