Role Description The Branch Credit Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Satara, responsible for managing credit operations and risk assessment for the branch. This role involves evaluating loan applications, analyzing financial and business information, and determining creditworthiness in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The Branch Credit

Manager will monitor portfolio performance, track early warning signals, and recommend appropriate actions to maintain asset quality.



Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with sales and operations teams, ensuring accurate documentation, supporting underwriting decisions, and preparing credit-related reports and MIS for management. The role also includes implementing credit policies, supporting audits, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and risk control.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Credit Management and Credit Risk Management.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and a sound understanding of Finance.
- Candidates should possess a thorough grasp of Credit evaluation processes and practices.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in NBFCs, banking, or lending to micro and small enterprises is preferred.
- Ability to interpret financial statements, assess cash flows, and evaluate business viability.
- Strong attention to detail, ethical judgment, and adherence to compliance and regulatory norms.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to work collaboratively with branch teams.
