Job Summary:

We are seeking a Bakery Worker / Bakery Helper to support the day-to-day bakery operations. The role involves assisting in the preparation, baking, handling, packing, cleaning, and storage of bakery products while maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in the preparation and production of bakery products, including bread, buns, cakes, biscuits, snacks, and other bakery items.

· Measure and prepare ingredients and assist in mixing, shaping, baking, and finishing products as instructed.

· Operate ovens, mixers, grinders, and other bakery equipment safely and as instructed.

· Assist with the loading, unloading, cooling, arranging, and packing of finished bakery products.

· Assist in receiving, handling, storing, and arranging raw materials such as flour, sugar, yeast, butter, eggs, and other ingredients.

· Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and housekeeping of the bakery area, equipment, utensils, raw materials, and finished products.

· Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures at all times.

· Ensure proper handling and storage of bakery products to maintain quality and freshness.





· Assist in maintaining stock, production, and wastage records as instructed.

· Support the bakery team in daily operations and other assigned duties.

Desired Candidate Qualification

· Minimum 8th / 10th / 12th Standard qualification.

· Prior experience in a bakery, kitchen, food production unit, hotel, hostel, or similar environment will be preferred; institutional bakery or hostel food service experience will be an added advantage.

· Basic knowledge of bakery ingredients, preparation, production processes, and safe operation of bakery equipment and utensils.

· Knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.

· Physically fit and willing to perform standing, lifting, cleaning, and other bakery-related duties.

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions, with valuable discipline and punctuality.

· Willingness to work shifts, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by bakery operations.
