About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst with 1–3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring requirements are clearly captured, documented, and translated into actionable outcomes. This role requires robust ownership, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work closely with Project Managers and Development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with clients/stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives
- Analyze, refine, and prioritize requirements to ensure feasibility and alignment with project goals
- Perform gap analysis between current and desired business processes

Documentation

- Prepare and maintain BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), user stories, and use cases
- Create clear and detailed process flow diagrams, wireframes, and workflow documentation
- Maintain a single source of truth for requirement changes and version history

Process Flow & Solution Design

- Map current (as-is) and future (to-be) business processes
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the development team
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions

Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the project/technical team
- Manage stakeholder expectations through regular updates, meetings, and status reports




- Facilitate discussions to resolve conflicting requirements or priorities

Sprint Planning & Agile Support

- Assist the Project Manager in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and story prioritization
- Write and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

Project Ownership

- Take ownership of assigned modules/features from requirement stage through delivery
- Track progress against project timelines and flag risks or blockers proactively
- Ensure deliverables align with business objectives and quality standards

Development & Testing Support

- Clarify requirement-related queries raised by developers during implementation
- Support QA/testing teams by reviewing test cases against requirements
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate that delivered functionality meets business needs

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst (IT/software projects preferred)
- Strong requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation skills
- Experience creating process flows, wireframes, and workflow diagrams (Visio, Lucidchart, draw.io, or similar)
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
- Basic understanding of SDLC and how requirements translate into technical deliverables
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to present findings, proposals, and updates to leadership/clients confidently
- Good attitude, team player, and willingness to travel as per project requirements
