Key Responsibilities:

- Design, deploy, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
- Implement and support AVD host pools, application groups, workspaces, and session hosts.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization of AVD infrastructure.
- Manage FSLogix profiles, user sessions, and storage solutions.
- Configure and maintain Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, VPNs, and ExpressRoute.
- Integrate AVD with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and hybrid identity solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot AVD performance, connectivity, and user experience issues.
- Implement security best practices, compliance standards, and access controls.
- Automate deployment and administration using PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure Automation.
- Support application delivery and image management using golden images and image galleries.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams for solution architecture and operational excellence.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
- Provide L3/L4 support and root cause analysis for complex issues.




- Participate in migration projects from on-premises VDI platforms such as Citrix and VMware Horizon to AVD.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or End User Computing environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) administration and support.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture.

- Expertise in Windows Server and Windows 10/11 Multi-Session environments.
- Experience managing FSLogix Profiles and profile containers.

- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Understanding of security, governance, and compliance best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
