About the Role The Selected candidate will work on high-impact strategic and analytical initiatives that improve profitability and operational efficiency at Shadowfax. The role demands strong analytical skills, sharp business understanding, and the ability to break down complex, unstructured problems into actionable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Regional distribution vehicle cost and drive continuous improvement in cost per shipment.
- Design and optimise the regional network for both speed and cost. Own capacity management in the regional network for all load fluctuations.
- Define, develop and track cost targets; program-manage major cost reduction initiatives with cross-functional owners.
- Translate data into actionable insights through rigorous quantitative analysis and business interpretation.
- Work on unstructured business problems, applying first-principles thinking, structured problem solving and strong commercial judgement.
- Deliver high-quality work with attention to detail while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Background & Skills
- 4-8 years of progressive work experience with working knowledge of e-commerce network design
- Working knowledge of Network design tools, SQL, Python, and strong proficiency in Excel is mandatory
- Team managing experience of handling at least 2-4 Business Analysts is required
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
- Robust business understanding with the ability to connect on-ground operational callouts to underlying process gaps.
- Problem-solving mindset with openness to learning and adapting in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Exposure to e-commerce logistics operations would be good but not a must.
