for Asst. Manager/Dy Manager Procurement & Contracts
1) Qualification & Experience:
BE/B.Tech in Civil/Mech. Engg with 7-8 Yrs (For AM) and 8-10 Yrs (For DM) of proven working experience in Procurement & Contracts in Pelletisation Plants or in Steel Industries.
Diploma Engineers also can be opted with 8-10 Yrs (For AM) and 10-12 Yrs (For DM) of proven working experience.
2) :
a) Analyzing the requirements, which are to be purchased or for which contracts to be made.
b) Ability for construction cost analysis.
c) Analytical ability in PR to PO process & work with a stipulated cycle time.
d) Assist with all activities associated with budgeting & sourcing of materials, Logistics, services for assigned project(s).
e) To handle the process of construction contracts and purchase of various construction materials (Civil, Mechanical, electrical, mineral processing, support systems) for the project.
f) Have good techno-commercial acumen to ensure safety regulations, commercial,
legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions.
g) Positive negotiation skill to ensure cost effective buying process.
h) Managing Contract Execution, overseeing contract implementation and ensuring that all parties (Contractors) fulfill their responsibilities.
i) Playing a part in effective construction budget management, by overseeing payment schedules, and cost variances to avoid financial discrepancies.
j) Collaboration & liaise with internal customers & the vendors.
k) Vendor database & vendor management.
l) Vendor development.
m) Good presentation skill along with preparation of MIS n) Aptitude in collecting data, analyzing & decision making.
o) Strong leadership & team building capability with effective procurement processes and strategy.
