We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage end-to-end procurement operations, vendor management, team performance and cost-effective purchasing.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Purchase/Procurement team.
Plan and execute purchases as per business requirements.
Ensure timely PO generation and follow-ups.
Develop, evaluate and manage current and existing vendors.
Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.
Handle urgent and critical purchases independently.
Drive cost reduction without compromising quality.
Monitor team performance,
accountability and deadlines.
Implement procurement SOPs and ensure proper documentation.
Handle vendor escalations and improve supplier performance.
Requirements
Experience in trading, mining or construction tools will be preferred.
Graduate/Diploma; Engineering qualification preferred.
6–10 years of Purchase/Procurement experience.
2–3 years of team-handling/managerial experience.
Robust negotiation, vendor management and leadership skills.
